TherapiesOccupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps patients build and strengthen daily living skills, such as eating, bathing, toileting, cooking, and homemaking. Occupational therapists work with patients to increase safety awareness, prevent further disability by making home assessments and modifications, and complete community reintegration. California Transitional Care can connect patients with in-home occupational therapy to increase convenience and effectiveness of treatment. Patients with impaired vision and/or hearing will be taught how to function in their environment with adaptive equipment and specialized training.
